Infact, I got good news today. My MTR approved after 3 months. My 485 was denied due to withdrawal of I140 by previous employer (AC21 case).
So I had applied MTR and approved today. Looks like USCIS understood the error and approving all MTR (I didn't hear a single MTR rejection on AC21 case )

I have never heard about this before, but if I were you I would:
1. Immediately request transcripts from college in sealed envelope, exactly as requested.
2. I dont think sending notarized copies will work, because notaries normally dont attest document, owner of the document does that and they just say that it is your signature. As per my understanding you will need to send the originals as requested. But with it you can safely send a letter asking them to send the documents back. Include a prepaid fedex envelop.
Worst case, they will loose these documents but you can get them reissued from university. But if you dont send documents as requested your application could be denied.
Its amazing the extent USCIS will go to make our lives tough

Your lawyer should check with DOL after 90 days(from submission). I requested my lawyer did such thing and got response from DOL for RFE. One month later, I got approval notice.

Hi Guys, After I read the murthy bulletin article on EAD's I was glad to see a possibility for applying for interim EAD after 75 days. But since then I have done a lot more research and couldn't find anything related to this anywhere. I live in Wisconsin and the only way we can get help from Milwaukee field office is by going through infopass online to set up an appointment. And it still mentions that if it has been past 90 days then you can request an interim EAD. I would really like to see some more info on the 75 day recommendation. Also, does anybody know what all you need to take with you to get interim EAD.
Do you need original receipt notices or will copies do? I am sure you need a photo id!! What else? Thanks

One more question. Does current company give you any originals when your I-140 is approved? If so, I was not given any. I was just told by the company attorney by mail saying that my I-140 is approved. So now, what exactly should I ask for? Appreciate if you can list all the required documents.

When I traveled to Hyd, my luggage went missing. They found that the connecting flt to JFK didn't deliver the bags to Emirates. I got that after 2 days. But they gave me $50 at Hyd and also amount equivalent 2 2nd AC train tickets to my District. They have really good shops at Dubai airport.
One of my friends took a tourist Visa and went to visit Dubai on this return trip to US. He was sent to additional screening at JFK after seeing Dubai visa in his PP. No problems at the end. This is just an info.

I am trying to book an appointment for h1b visa stamping at the Chennai Us consulate for Nov 29th but I see no dates available for Nov 2010 for Chennai.
Ony calcutta dates are available.
Can I book an emergency appointment in this situation?
I have been on h1 for the past 3 years.First came to US in 2004.Visa expired in 2006.
Extended h1b here in USA..Now going to India for the first time after visa expiry.
Also, for the stamping, should i carry all old LCA's or just the latest one?

very frustrating.. Aug is here, and my PD is current now (using old employer 140).. but cannot file 485 since fragomen-PERM stuck in audit for current employer!!!
I was waiting for PD to become current for almost 2-3 years.. at old employer... now its current.. and i cannot do anything... !!!! just wait and watch!!.. Audit result expected in 6-8 month per fragomen.. 6 years of h1b expiring in 10 months!

I am in the similar situation. Attended for visa interview at Toronto US Consulate on May 6. VO just kept I129 (All the annexures), Client/vendor letters. Informed you will get replay within 1-2wks. Its already been a week, I didnt get any response back. Consulate called client on the same day. No updates after that.
Appreciate if someone could let us know, usually how long it takes to get any status update ? I have been working with the same Employer/Client for last 4 years.

I did extended for my in-laws when they entered last time to US. When they entered next time they entered without any issues.
A quick question. Did you extend after the initial 6 month period? I had a friend who extended the original 3 months and received another 3 months.
